On its own, a company can move many mountains, but when it comes to evolving, key partnerships often make a big difference in being able to truly go above and beyond. The Unscented Company has recently joined forces with Marie-Eve Dompierre, a ceramic artist from DOMPIERRE creating modern ceramic objects with a simple and sleek design. This new collaboration is inspired by our common values: being able to see beauty even in the simplest things and making a real effort to make the world a better place.

A love story

Five years ago, Marie-Eve would have never imagined she’d be spending most of her days getting her hands dirty with clay. Her story began in all innocence when she decided to attend a pottery class given by one of her friends. As soon as she ran her fingers through the clay, she felt completely overwhelmed, panicked even. She couldn’t believe it at first, but she had just experienced love at first sight. Not long after that, she decided to put her photography career behind her in order to fully embrace this new art.

Conscientious art

Passionate cannot even begin to describe Marie-Eve: her art is not only her life, it is also her very soul. She talks about her art the way a mother talks about her child: with a voice full of love. Her life’s work is to create timeless, durable, eco-friendly objects that will truly impact people’s lives. And, above all else, DOMPIERRE is about creating beauty, which is why she chose to partner up with Café et Atelier Les Faiseurs and Épi, a restaurant located in Trois-Rivières, among others. It is also why The Unscented Company came up to her in hopes of spreading her magic some more.

"Create timeless, durable, eco-friendly objects that will truly impact people’s lives. And, above all else, DOMPIERRE is about creating beauty."

Please note that DOMPIERRE will soon be moving out in order to optimize production and get enough room to offer pottery classes.
